Dr. and Mrs. Allison Randle White Jr. of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Rachael Aline White of Greenwood, to Daniel Wayne Faught of Mobile, Ala.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Lee Bryant and Wayne Leith Faught, all of Greensboro, Ala.
He is the grandson George Eugene Kuhn of Faunsdale, Ala., the late Bobbie Edmondson Kuhn and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Ellis Faught Sr.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Allison Randle White Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Havis Webb.
Miss White is a 2001 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2006 graduate of Mississippi State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.
She is a member of Phi Mu sorority, where she served as philanthropy chairman and standards chairmen. She is also a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
The bride-elect is a medical student in Nova Southeastern University college of osteopathic medicine. She plans to graduate in May 2010.
Mr. Faught is a 2001 graduate of Greensboro West High School in Alabama.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in wildlife sciences with a concentration in law enforcement from Mississippi State University.
He is a member of the Wildlife Law Enforcement Club, Wildlife Society and member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
He is an officer for the Alabama Department of Conservation in the Marine Resources Enforcement division.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. April 10, 2010, at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity.
The Rev. Annie Kay Cumberland will officiate at the ceremony.
A reception at the Greenwood Country Club will follow.
